The Senior Saints of Hope:
is a young at heart group (50 years old and over) who gather to fellowship not only with each other but with those in the community. We gather to hold each other in love and to show the light of Jesus.
Some of the things we have done are:
Trip to York Maine, the Loon Preservation Center, Fish and Game Day of NH, Warner’s Fall Festival. We also sent out several shoe boxes to Ecuador and Ukraine.
Special ministries we perform:
We visit and pray for those who are in the nursing homes and rehab hospitals. We have sent shoeboxes to Samaritan’s Purse. We have put together prayer and pet companions for those who are lonely and in need in our community.
Special Conference for Seniors
In March, we held a very informative conference during which we discussed finalizing our plans as we grow older and the importance of doing it now. Several local speakers that presented were from VNA and Hospice, Service Link, Franklin’s Senior Center, and the SMART Funeral Home.
Come on out and help us minister to our community offering prayers, smiles, and helping hands; along the way we will build friendships and have some fun.
